Erwin K. Thomas: For over 25 years Guyanese-born Erwin K. Thomas, Ph.D., was a professor and graduate director of International Journalism & Broadcasting at Norfolk State University, VA. He also taught at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, and SUNY–Oswego, worked as a desk assistant at CBS Radio News Network, NYC, and has published 14 books on the mass media with (Brown H. Carpenter), devotionals, an autobiography, and novel. He is married to Mary Barta Thomas, and they were previously members of the Church of the Holy Apostles– an ecumenical community, in Virginia Beach, VA., where he served on the Vestry Council, Eucharistic minister, and Facebook editor. Thomas later became a practicing Religious Naturalist.
