  Rejoice! It’s Christmas Rejoice! Rejoice! Be Happy. Christmas is in the air. It’s time to celebrate. A joyous day has dawned.   Let Christmas music play. Its melodies are soothing. With snow to set the mood a fireside crackle brightly.   A tree adorns the living room. Ornaments decorate its branches. But everywhere are precious gifts for the giving time is Christmas.   Oh, what a beautiful Season! With Santa Claus and mistletoes. Everything appears so special. And kids are at their best.   Christmas Day is memorable as families celebrate Christ’s birth. It’s a brand-new beginning in the World. Exchanging gifts symbolize their goodwill.        

  Christmas Tree A Christmas tree is lighted. It’s snowing at Christmas. And memories of joy are everywhere. They fill the air with excitement.   With delight color lights flicker. Glittering ornaments are on the tree. Their splendor embellishes the heart. Like all the trappings in the room.   Many homes have a Christmas tree. Why is it so special? We marvel at its beauty. What a great tradition is Christmas!   Under the tree are gifts. They are for children and adults. Christmas music is playing softly. And our hearts are leaping with joy.   Santa Claus has not forgotten us. Our family greets this day with happiness. As loved ones gather and open gifts. These moments are such precious memories.    

  What’s Your Price? From birth people are impacted by the undercurrents of society. As they grow to be adults they are shaped by many circumstances beyond their control.   Indeed, these individuals have come into the world with customs and traditions that have existed for eons.   Like the Serenity Prayer many do learn that there are some things about life they can change, while there are others, they are unable to do anything about.   If they go against some social norms there can be devastating consequences. So, many families just live with such paradoxes if they wish to be at peace and happy.   Some people believe this is wise under such circumstances. As one professor used to say, “Everyone has a price, but do not make yours too low.”

  The World on Edge For a variety of reasons, The World is on Edge. One major problem is caused by its inhabitants who have disregarded the earth’s basic laws.   From generation-to-generation mankind has lived as though its existence, and natural resources are unlimited. People have held on to some traditions that are counterproductive.   Still, nations continue to live according to these principles. One wonders how is it that quite often history tends to repeat itself.   Is it because people are flawed? If that is the case, will humanity ever achieve their full God-given potential?   This will only be possible if they can turn things around.

  Christmas 2023 is Bittersweet The Christmas season should be a time of rejoicing. What has people done to the Christian Savior of the World? Nations are in uproar. Russia is at war with Ukraine, and trying to annex its territory. Israel is endeavoring to wipe Hamas out of Palestine. Thousands of innocent victims are being slaughtered, many are homeless, and countries' infrastructures are blown to pieces. Billions of dollars are being spent on weapons of mass destruction. What a terrible waste of resources!! It's absurd where the major nations' priorities lie, when more than one-third of the world's population lives in poverty, or are whacked by chronic diseases. Those billions can be better spent to heal such problems. What has happened to society's values, morals, and priorities? Please Offer Up Prayers!! Will mankind ever change?

  Life is Beautiful Merrily! Merrily! Merrily! Sugarcane cookies and chocolate chips! Honey cones and dazzling sunsets! What a delight at every moment! Life is wonderful, and filled with joy. Only open your eyes to the possibilities of the Universe. Everything is an amazing manifestation of Nature. It is more than can be experienced during a lifetime.

  Garden of Dreams What a gift of imagination! Oh how wonderful!! It's a beautiful morning. The sun is shining brightly. The weather is perfect outside. So, I decided to take a walk in the neighborhood. Pretty butterflies were flittering everywhere. Birds were singing in the sequoia trees. And, a cool breeze was sweeping up fallen leaves along my path. Still, it seemed like paradise, as I stepped gingerly across the garden of dreams. Oh, an amazing experience!!

  Dance of Plants Watch the plants grow. The sky is the limit. They can never overdo it. Set your eyes on the stars of nature. Notice the wind blowing, and the sun as it rises. See how the plants dance, and their leaves wave back and forth. So, never should you become despondent in a garden. Just enjoy the natural movements of plants in their habitat.

  Never Give Up Life is about standing up. Don't let anything get you down. You may be battling a chronic disease. Your condition may look hopeless. But in a valley a mountain rises. There's a glimmer of hope in setbacks. This is where hidden strength lies. For, a wounded bird may still fly. So fight, and don't ever give up on hope.

  The Time Is Now!! It's advisable to read great books. Write interesting accounts of their characters. Analyze the problems of life, their love for others, and as healers. I shoulld pray for peace, justice, and be hopeful. Be mindful, forgive those who do wrong, and celebrate the Oneness of Life. It must always be about having faith in the Power of Now.

Our Cat Oscar Oscar has quite a personality. He's an adorable pet. The color of his coat is orange. And he likes it indoors and outdoors. He scratches on the door to be let in the house. Oscar does this several times during the day after roaming in the neighborhood. Often he comes inside to eat his cat food that's on the couch. Most nights he is home to sleep in the mud room. But every morning he's up early to eat, and be let outside again.
